The Casa

3-20-13 Update
We just finished the Hall bath (unplanned) renovation. To see the full post with before & after's go here.

We have slowed down a little on the house in hopes to start building in a few years. Here is a tour pretty close as the house stands now. You know its ever-changing!

The Entry-This was a solution we came up with since my office/craft room (which is never clean & seems to be closing in around me everyday) is in the formal dining and was the first thing you see when you walk in. We put up Ikea-Sliding Window Panel System to separate the two spaces & created the illusion of a wall by suspending a mirror.

The Dining/Breakfast Area-This chandelier is about my most favorite thing in the house, bought at a warehouse sale for almost nothing because it was not in working condition. (Luv my hubby) The sculptural piece on the wall, we also made. It is cardboard tiles, mounted to plywood and spray painted.

The Living Room-Were we spend most of our time is an eclectic mix of rustic antiques and modern lines.

The Master Bedroom-The blue paint color on the walls is my favorite color. I love the mix of traditional   & whimsy in here.

Colton's Lego Room-Is being over whelmed by Lego's! The lego city block has 2 working trains, a chapel, and a fire station...just to name a few. What are we going to do with all of these when he gets older? His bedroom is currently under renovation.

Pool & Deck-This was a new addition this last year. We spend so much time outside, it was a great investment for us. We no longer have to go to the lake to cool off all summer!

We have learned a lot along the way, and hope to apply that in the future, but are happy here for now.
